Martii Garcia is a Mexican/American artist who was born in El Paso, TX. She started performing and dancing at an early age. Observing Janet Jackson and Madonna she perfected her dancing abilities. At the tender age of 8 she sang at her local church choir where she developed her skill of singing. She then became the youngest performer ever on the stage of the largest musical drama in El Paso called "Viva El Paso". In her pre-adolescent years she relocated with her family to Boston, MA to further advance her education and career.

Shortly after graduating high school she was accepted to Berklee College Of Music based solely on her vocal abilities, where she also discovered her hidden talent of playing the drums. Martii also starred in the Broadway musical "RENT" where she played "MiMi", a stripper on drugs. "I've never done a drug in my life however", Martii emphasized. She then went on to participate on MTV in P. Diddy's "Making the Band 3" where she was chosen out of over 7,000 hopefuls to compete amongst 9 other finalists, only to be left disappointed.


Soon after going back to being a free agent, "Black Eyed Peas" frontman and long-time friend Will.I.Am expressed his interest in her talent and invited her as his artist on their "Pepsi World Tour" which spanned over 23 different countries in just two months. Martii recounted his exact words as he proudly pointed to her on stage one day in Mexico while touring and simply stated, "this is Martii and she's MEXICAN!." "The crowd went CRAZY as if he had said a name to the caliber of "Selena"(Mexican singer).

It was the best feeling EVER!", exclaimed Martii. Gaining vast recognition Martii landed work on Michael Jackson's 25th Anniversary album of "THRILLER". She is presently putting final touches on her debut Latin Hip-POP solo album, "DRAMA DISCO". In January 2011 she established a charity for woman battling domestic violence and drug abuse respectfully named "L.A.T.I.N.A.S" (Ladies Always Tough In Any Situation).

I just cant stop reading this.  Its so cool, so full of information that I just didnt know.  Im glad to see that people are actually writing about this issue in such a smart way, showing us all different sides to it.  Youre a great blogger.  Please keep it up.  I cant wait to read whats next.

I was wondering if you ever considered changing the layout of your blog?  Its very well written; I love what youve got to say.  But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better.  Youve got an awful lot of text for only having one or two images.  Maybe you could space it out better?

Good luck getting people behind this one.  Though you make some VERY fascinating points, youre going to have to do more than bring up a few things that may be different than what weve already heard.  What are trying to say here?  What do you want us to think?  It seems like you cant really get behind a unique thought.  Anyway, thats just my opinion.
