Artist Bio: Lindsay Alward :

Lindsay Alward is a Canadian born, 17 year old who is already establishing herself as a singer/songwriter and global critique best describes her as a Taylor Swift meets Sarah Mclachlan, sprinkled with a dash of Paramore,[pop] but judge for yourself! Whether she sings alone in her room or in front of crowds, she knows she'll be singing all her life! By the time she was sitting up she was humming as most kids do. By the age of 6-8yo Lindsay began belting out Aretha's Respect, and people noticed. Lindsay continued to sing and sing and write and write which lead her quite early to the stage... as far back as 6 years old. By 10 she was more regularily performing. It was family and friends who originally urged that she get some direction and noticed something special. Shortly after training began, her vocal teacher invited her to be the lead singer and form Lindsay's first cover band, hence "The Tims" was born.(managed by Carmen Celi-formerly of Flatlined) Lindsay has background in broadway, classical and pop via the Ontario Music Conservatory but has always had a tendency to lean towards performing and writing pop music.

Writing music, singing and performing all comes to Lindsay as easy as the air she breathes. Often described as a gift...her music is soulful, catchy and meaningful...to name a few but Lindsay most always leaves audiences puzzled by her ability to capture experiences well beyond her young years. How is it that just anybody can write a blog and get as popular as this?  Its not like youve said anything incredibly impressive --more like youve painted a pretty picture over an issue that you know nothing about!  I dont want to sound mean, here.  But do you really think that you can get away with adding some pretty pictures and not really say anything?

Have you ever thought about adding a little bit more than just your thoughts?  I mean, what you say is important and everything.  But its got no punch, no pop!  Maybe if you added a pic or two, a video?  You could have such a more powerful blog if you let people SEE what youre talking about instead of just reading it.

If I might --perhaps you should consider adding a few images.  I dont mean to disrespect what youve said; its very enlightening, indeed.  However, I think would respond to it more positively if they could be something tangible to your ideas.  Keep it up, but put a little more into it next time.

Have you ever thought about adding a little bit more than just your thoughts?  I mean, what you say is important and everything.  But its got no punch, no pop!  Maybe if you added a pic or two, a video?  You could have such a more powerful blog if you let people SEE what youre talking about instead of just reading it.
